The establishment of Globus Executive Holidays and subsequently Globus Executive Holidays Pte Ltd saw the inclusion of Mr Mohamed Ismail Hussain as the Owner and Operator of the Division and subsequently as Managing Director of Globus Executive Holidays Pte Ltd.
Mr Mohamed Ismail Hussain has held
key management positions and was also a shareholder and director of another
Travel Agency in Singapore before deciding to branch out on his own. He
carries with him more than two decades of Operational Experience in the
Hospitality Services including Hotels, Resorts and Travel Industry. A graduate
of the Singapore Hotel Association Training and Educational Centre (SHATEC),
he has worked up the ranks working as a Front Desk Clerk and graduating
to positions including Duty Manager, Sales and Marketing Manager, Convention
Services Manager before taking on positions of General Manager and Consultant
for several projects including start ups in Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Mr Mohamed Ismail Hussain has also been an active member of the Les Clefs d'Or Singapore or The Society of the Golden Keys Singapore, an association made up of Professional Concierges from the hotels in Singapore and around the region including India, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Japan which comes under the management of the Singapore Chapter. He was also instrumental in several major events of the Les Clefs d'Or Singapore including The 1st Junior Concierge Training Course held in 1999, The Asian Congress - Keys to Excellence Conference as well as the Concierge of Year Awards where he was one of the Judges for the Final Rounds.
During the 50th International Congress or the Union Internationale des Concierges d'Hotels held in Biarritz, France, Mr Mohamed Ismail Hussain was bestowed the " International Honorary Members of the UICH " an acknowledgement of the support and contribution towards the Society of the Golden Keys. Along with this come the enviable International Network of Concierges, Associate Members and other International Honorary Members with whom Mr Mohamed Ismail Hussain and Globus Executive Holidays Pte Ltd have established not only contacts but also excellent working relationship.
